Software

In this section you will find open-source software. Most of the tools are targeted to be run on Unix-based systems, but some of them might be interesting for other platforms as well. Just take a look and decide for yourself.

To get you started after download each archive contains a README or INSTALL file.

If you decide to use any of these programs feel free to send me your feedback. Tell me what's good or bad; send me bug reports or feature requests; point out parts of the manual pages that are missing or hard to understand.

All programs have been developed and tested on the stable release of Debian GNU/Linux.

Cron Jobs [directory]

Jobs that are meant to be run by a scheduler like CRON.

File Utilities [directory]

Tools that make certain tasks of file management and manipulation easier.

Libraries [directory]

This folder contains Perl modules/classes that are used by some of the scripts. Detailed instructions can be found in the INSTALL file enclosed in each archive.

Media [directory]

Tools that generate or work with digital content.
